Introduction: Fragrance Holder
In this project, I designed and constructed a holder for my Fragrance bottle.
Supplies
Tennon saw, Glue, small nails, access to timber, square, glasses (safety)
Step 1: Base Piece
In step one, the focus is to bring up the initial base, which is the main body part of the project. As it is rather simple, with a tennon saw, cut a shape that is accurate to the base area of the desired fragrance bottle / item. In my reference, My bottle was 67mm x 67mm, so, so was my base piece. The base piece doesn't require a certain depth, though between 10mm and 20mm is roughly good quality.
Step 2: Side Panels
With the base being complete, the fragrance must be held in place. The side panels will be elevated from the bases side perimeter and keep a secure hold. For the square shaped fragrance, comes four pieces of panelling. The length of each piece is the length of the base + the width of the panel, so that they leave no gaps or corner edges.
Step 3: Assembling
The Side panels can simply be glued onto the base, and then nailed into a tight hold, with 2 small nails that can be hammered in. Wait for the glue to fully set before nailing. The project can be finished with some timber staining.
