Introduction: French Rolling Pin

French style rolling pin with taper for easy pivoting.

Step 1: Stock

Cut stock to correct width and length. Use multiple pieces if necessary.

Step 2: Glue

Glue strips together if using more than one piece.

Step 3: Turn

Turn the wood on a lathe to a cylinder shape and then taper the ends 1/8" to 1/4".

Step 4: Sand

Finish sanding by hand.

Step 5: Oil

Coat with mineral oil.
