About: I love airplanes and crafting new things! I am a aspiring pilot in flight lessons right now!

This lamp is a great present for your parents or grandparents or even co-workers! this is super easy to print and make! This lamp can turn pretty much any color you can think of and can be controlled with any voice assistant for your phone depending on what LED strips you use!

Supplies

NovaMaker clear PLA

3-D printer

Smart light strip with a sticky back

cardboard

Step 1: 3-D Print the Coverings and "Light Rod"

The best way I have found to is to go to www.thingiverse.com and pick out 4 vases that you like! Next go into tinker CAD or your preferred choice of CAD software and make all of them roughly the same height and make the rod about 20 mm's shorter than the top of the vase! next you can 3d print it on a 3d printer of your choice. ( I have a Creality Ender 3 )

Step 2: Light Wrapping

Take the "Light Rod" and wrap the light tightly around the cylinder. it should fit snug and you can use a little superglue if it does not stick as well as mine did.

Step 3: The Base

Take the completed light rod and cut out a cardboard square which will act like the base. This can be any size to your liking!

Step 4: Put the Lamp "Shade" On

All you have to do at this point is make any adjustments you might want and then for the light up!
