Introduction: Gastly Low Poly Vapor Decoration

About: A small group of people who love making stuff with 3D printers :)

At 3Demon, we love to create our own designs with a function. This is our low-poly Gastly decoration with a smoke effect!

Supplies

  • Files for 3D printing
  • Small led light - warm white. We used IKEA Ledberg LED Spotlight but any LED Puck Lights up to 60mm in diameter will fit.
  • PVC tube - 12mm or 10mm outer diameter.
  • 3D printer
  • Superglue
  • Filaments - We used Fillamentum:
  • Crystal Clear Amethyst Purple – back and the flat gas ring
  • Traffic Black – front
  • Traffic White – eyes
  • Crystal Clear- stand

Step 1: Print All the Files

The only part that needs supports are the eyes. The rest should be printed easily. It is designet to fit on a 200 mm print bed. All cut parts are placed on the print bed as we would print them to save you time.

Step 2: Assemble the Parts

You can glue the parts together but I would just glue the eyes because it’s good to be able to disassemble the other parts for cleaning purposes. For the eyes, use a superglue.

The wire of the light goes throuh a hole on the flat part. The light should face the back of the pokemon - shining towards the violet part.

Step 3: Rise and Shine!

If you like to vape, you can blow the smoke through the pvc tube and create this stunning effect! Let us know how you like this instructable on our social media!
