Step 1: Step 1: Snap Glowstick
Take the glowstick and start gently bending it to allow the crystals inside to snap and begin glowing. Once you have snapped it a few times shake it around to allow the glowing liquid to fill the stick.
Step 2: Step 2: Insert Glow Stick Into the Balloon
After your glow stick is glowing you will need to insert it into the balloon. To do this you need to bend the stick in half and push it through the opening of the balloon.
Step 3: Step 3: Blow Up the Balloon
After the stick is glowing and inside of the balloon you will need to blow it up. To do this you simply put your mouth over the opening and start blowing air into the balloon. When you need to take a breath simply pinch the opening of the balloon so air doesn't escape, take a break, and continue blowing until the balloon is as big as you would like it to be. (Be careful, it is possible to blow it up too big and it could pop!)
Step 4: Step 4: Tie the Balloon
After the balloon has the amount of air you want it to have, you will need to tie the opening of the balloon so air doesn't escape. Simply tie the opening end into a knot and you are good to go!
To tie an easy knot with a balloon follow the picture steps:
-put two fingers over the shaft of the balloon opening (your fingernails facing up)
-twist the balloon material around your fingers so that your fingernails are now facing down
-put the top of the opening in between your two fingers
-pull the material around your fingers up and over the opening that is in between
-pull the opening and it creates a knot!
