Introduction: Green Breakfast Smoothie
Hey Foodies, in the summer months is gets pretty hot and I don't like to make heavy foods or even turn on my oven because there is no need to heat up the house. I like to try to keep foods light and refreshing and this Green Smoothie always hits the spot. Make this recipe your own (by add more or less or extra ingredients), when I am on the hungry side I like to add nut butter (you can also add protein powder) to fill up. Also this recipe is awesome because it comes together really fast and there is only a handful of HEALTHY ingredients that will help you get your day going. Step 1: Ingredients and Tools
Ingredients
- 1 Frozen Banana
- 1 Cup Spinach
- 2 Cups Unsweetened Almond Milk
- 1 Tablespoon Maple Syrup
Tools
- Blendtec Blender
- Pyrex Bowl 3 set
- Pyrex Measuring Cup Kit
- Misc. Kitchen Utensils
Step 2: Add Ingredients to Blender
Add in almond milk, maple syrup, frozen banana and spinach into a powerful blender.
Step 3: Blend
Blend until everything is well combined.
Step 4: Pour Into Serving Cups
Fill serving cups with ice and pour green drink into the cups. I use a straw to drink mine.
