Introduction: Grilled Shrimp

About: I have been sewing and crafting for several years, my children are grown so now I have lots of time to be creative. I enjoy photography, cooking, cake decorating, painting and sharing my projects with others.

This is a simple recipe for the grill.

Let's throw some shrimp on the Barbie!

Step 1: Ingredients

You will need:

1 package of frozen shrimp size large or extra large- Peeled, deveined and tails on.

Olive oil

Old Bay seasoning

I like to use wooden skewers, it helps keep the shrimp from falling through the grill.

Step 2: Prep Work

Soak the wooden skewers in water for 15-20 minutes.

Thaw out the shrimp in the refrigerator all day or soak in a bowl of room temp water for 30 minutes, replacing the water when it gets cold. Drain well on paper towels.

dip the shrimp in olive oil, both sides.

Place shrimp on wooden skewers and sprinkle generously with Old Bay seasoning.

They are ready to go!

Step 3: Grilling

Heat up your grill, I like a charcoal grill but propane would work fine.

Place some vegetable oil on a paper towel and, using tongs, rub the oil onto the grill. This will help prevent the shrimp from sticking.

Place the shrimp skewers on the grill and cover for 2 minutes.

Turn the shrimp over and grill for an additional 2 minutes or so, until the shrimp turn pink.

The larger the shrimp are, the longer cooking time they will require.

Step 4: Finished Product

That's all there is to it! You can adjust the amount of seasoning you like.

Enjoy!
