Introduction: Home-made White Board Using Recycled Materials
Hi I'blers, this instructable is going to be a bit different from other I'bles as I'm going to document the exact process with the date and time so that I can make you feel exactly what I felt while I was planning and making this white-board. Just imagine, you are watching me or you've watched me doing this. Hope you'll enjoy.

I recently started a channel on Youtube where I want to make tutorials on various mechanical engineering topics. To accomplish this goal, the first thing that I need is a board and a marker pen. I already have the marker, but I have to arrange for a board now. Even if I order it online, it'll take someday to arrive but I want to see how the experience is going to be. So I'm going to make a white-board myself from whatever I have at my home.

Moreover, it's very important for an engineer to be capable of utilizing objects around him/her. It increases the capability to imagine, the ability to innovate, think out of the box. So let's see if I can make a white-board for myself. I started brainstorming real hard, started looking out for something, something that I can start with. Nothing caught my eye. Tired, I went to bed.
Step 1: What You Need?

I woke up and saw my mom throwing an old photo frame. That's what I was looking for! I took it from her, took out the glass and cleaned it. Everything else fell into place. Just a week ago, I ordered some books online and I still had the box. I know what you are thinking. That's exactly what I did. I also had some A4 sheets, but one can use pages from their copies as well. Apart from that, scissors, cello-tape and gum, I always have these three things on my desk. So basically, I'm sorted. I was very excited and decided to start working on it as soon as I finish my breakfast. But before I go, I would like to list down all the materials that I'll be using:
- Glass frame
- Cardboard
- Paper
- Scissors, cello-tape and gum
Step 2: Assemble Them and Here You Go!

The everyday breakfast tasted great, maybe because I was too excited about the idea. I went on and cut the cardboard into a rectangle. I tried to keep the aspect ratio 16:9 so that it fits well into the YouTube screen. I placed the A4 paper right in the middle of the cardboard and used the gum to hold it there. Now I safely placed the glass on it and using the cello-tape secured it as well. All this time, my sister was helping me to record everything I was doing, so that later on I can document it well.

I created some test videos to check if actually, the board is going to work. You can have a look and if they are good enough to get my channel started.

Since the videos went out well, I finally thought of making a YouTube video, documenting everything. I'm not a very good writer, so even if you fail to catch up with my words, you can always refer to my video to understand the steps. I tried to make an animated presentation and record it using a screencast recorder. I applied minor edits to it and finally published it on YouTube.

I occasionally come on Insructables, only when I have made something new and feel like to document it here. I came across the "Paper Contest" and the "Epilog Challenge" and you already know what I did after that! But do you know what you need to do now? Yes, "VOTE" for me :)
