Introduction: Homemade Taco Soup

During the winter and fall months, there's nothing better than having a favorite, warm comfort food to make and enjoy. Soups and Chilis are very common during these seasons, making this recipe one of my go-to’s. Admit it, everyone loves tacos. What better way to have tacos than in a soup with all your favorite toppings? In this recipe, we will take a taco out of a hard shell and bring it into a pot on the stove, with all kinds of seasonings and spices to make it into one of your new favorite dishes to eat. This can serve a family of 5!

Supplies

Hamburger Meat (2 lbs) 1 can of tomato sauce 2 Cans of Rotel 1 can of black beans 1 can of corn Half of an onion Taco Seasoning Ranch Seasoning Garlic Powder Creole Seasoning Salt/Pepper Sour Cream Taco Sauce Shredded Cheese

Step 1: Place a Pot on the Stove and Set It to Medium Heat.

Step 2: Dice Half and Onion and Place Into the Pot With Salt and Pepper to Taste. Let Brown.

Step 3: Add Hamburger Meat to the Pot and Let Cook on Medium Heat.

Step 4: Drain Meat and Return to the Pot. Add Taco Seasoning, Ranch Seasoning, Garlic Powder, and Creole Seasoning All to Your Liking, Along With 1/4th a Cup of Water. Mix.

Step 5: Add in the Corn, Black Beans and Rotel, and Tomato Paste Into the Pot and Stir. Place the Pot on Medium High Heat and Cover. Let Simmer for 10 Minutes While Stirring Occasionally

Step 6: Place the Pot on Low After Elapsed Time, and Add More Seasonings Where You Feel Needed. Add Sour Cream, Cheese and Taco Sauce and Enjoy!
