Introduction: How to Pitch

About: I am big into sports (Baseball, Football, Wrestling)
In this instructable, I will tell how to be a Successful Pitcher in any baseball leauge

Step 1: The Common Grip (Fastball)

This grip is the fastball: This is the most common pitch and the only pitch that young players should throw.

Look at the seams and find the curve of the seam. Put the seams horizontal with the open part on the right. Put your fingertips on the outside of the top seam. (only use Index and middle finger. Let your ring and pinkey finger hang in the air.) Put your thumb in between the seams that are on the bottom of the ball.

Hint: Make sure there is enough space in between your palm and
the ball to fit a finger through the space for better
control.

Step 2: Standing in and Winding Up

When you are sent to the mound, you take a few warm up throws then stand in. You put your toes right behind the rubber (the rubber is thing that you push off and the thing that marks the middle of the mound) You Put your grip in your hand and put the ball in your glove

Winding up
You wind up to create better leverage for each pitch.
First you step back with your right foot if you're a lefty and left foot if you are a righty to that side of the mound in which that foot came from. Then, you put your other foot against the rubber(ligned up with the rubber)Last, you lift your foot that you brought back, bending at the knee. You can bring your leg as high or low as you want.

Step 3: Delivery

After your wind up, you deliver the pitch

When you lift your foot, you bring your arm strait back with the ball then bend your arm strait up at the elbow(your arm is still behind your head. You then bring your foot down about 3 feet from where it started and push off the rubber with your other foot. At the same time, you fling your arm forword dragging the seam that you're holding strait down.(release the ball when it is at the catcher's glove

Make sure You Do step 2 amd 3 in a smooth motion with no stopping until you throw the ball
