How to Change a Headlight Bulb on a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado

This is an instructional instructable on how to change a headlight bulb on a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado

Step 1: Opening the Hood

The lever to open (pop) the hood is located on the drivers side on the left side near the floor, pull the lever up and towards you to open the hood.

Step 2: Removing the L Shaped Pins

The L shaped pins that hold the headlight assembly in need to be rotated and pulled straight up and out.

Step 3: Removing Wiring Harness From Headlight

To remove the wiring harness from the headlight, lift the tab and push or pull the side with the wire away from the bulb.

Step 4: Remove and Replace the Bulb

Rotate the bulb clockwise 90 degrees and pull straight out.
