Introduction: How to Crochet Snoopy

For this cute Snoopy you just need 2 colors (White and Black), you need crochet hooks (depending on the size of your yarn and which crochet hooks you personally prefer), and to finish off the strings and embroider details your going to need a crochet needle. And you will need stuffing.

What everything means...

sl st - slip stitch

sc - single crochet

dc - double crochet

hdc - half double crochet

dec - decrease

inc- increase

Step 2: Finishing the Face

In black yarn...

Start adding the facial features I added the eyes about 8 st from where you can see the dc started in the head and I made the eyebrows about 3 or 4 st above the eye. Then I added the mouth, when you add the mouth just make sure that each side is even . And then you can crochet the nose to the very end of it. And here is the pattern for the nose...

1. Mr (5)

3-4 . sc (10)

Then stuff it just barely and finish it off and leave a tail of yarn to connect it to the head

Step 3: Ears

Make 2 from black yarn

now fold the ear in half and crochet it together, fasten off (leave yarn tail to sew on the head)

7. 4hdc, 4sl st (8)

8. 4hdc, 4 sc (8)

fasten off, leave tail for attaching it, and embroider black for the fingers for the arms

Step 6: Legs

Make 2 from white yarn...

1. ch 9, do 2sc in the 2nd ch from your hook, then 6sc, 5sc in the next chain, now you are going to want to want to go to the other side of the eg and 6sc, and 2sc in the last stitch and you should now be at (21) if you did it correctly

8. dec each st then do one sc (9)

9.-12 sc (9)

Fasten off, leave yarn tail, use black yard to put toe lines on the foot

Step 7: Tail

With white...

1. mr (4)

2. (sc, inc) do this 2 times (6)

3. (2sc, inc) do this 2 times (8)

4. (2sc, dec) do this 2 times (6)

5. (sc, dec) 2 times (4)

6. optional - if you want to have your tail a little bit longer you can do an extra row of just sc

fasten off, leave yarn tail

Step 8: Attaching the Pieces Together

Now you need to connect all the pieces together using your crochet needle. First start by attaching the ears to the face making sure they are both evenly placed where you want them. I put mine about 3 stitches down from where the eyes ended. then attach the body to the face and after that add the collar to the neck.

Collar in black...

ch 17

turn over ( skip first st) sc 16

Once done with that place the arms on the side of the body making sure that the black embroider is facing forward. Place the arms a little less than half way down the body. Next add the feet at the bottom of the body only a few stitches away from each other and again make sure the black embroidered part is facing forward.

Step 9: Your Snoopy Is Completed!

Now your snoopy is done and if you would like put in the comments what you think would improve it, or how your snoopy turned out!
