Introduction: How to Fix Samsung Gear Live Dock
Do you have one of those? I am pretty sure that in a couple of months, the mounts broke. It's a shame, I had a gear fit (that now belongs to my husband) and the little clips are in perfect condition. But reading on Amazon, I've seen that this is such a common problem. I've seen plastic mounts that you can make and add, I saw a guy who 3d printed one. But I don't have such a thing, so I had to come up with an easier solution.
Step 1: Step 1: Open the Back Case.
It has a small hole. I used a pit to take it off, it's not hard. In the picture you can see further steps, sorry, at this time I didn't take any pictures.
Step 2: Step 2: Make Holes
Make 2 holes in the plastic. I made them simply with a pin. The one for the rubber band was a little two small, so I made it bigger with scissors.
Step 3: Step 3: Put a Pin and a Rubber Band
One on each side. For the rubber band, you can make a not depending on how long you wanted. You can put the watch and measure that it's actually holding it. I use a little bit of hot glue gun to hold the pin in place but it's not really necessary.
Step 4: Step 4: Put the Back Thing Back and Test It Out.
If the rubber band is too loose, you can open it and adjust the not inside to make it shorter.
Step 5: Step 5: Charge Your Watch
This is the end result. For me it was very practical, just attach the rubber band to the pin and voila. Not special parts that I have to carry around.
