Introduction: How to Make Custom Stationery
This Valentine's Day, wanna do something special for that Special Somebody?
How about writing a letter? It's an underappreciated act that can be very powerful.
To make your letter even more special, you can use some special paper - called stationery.
Read on to learn how!
Don't forget to vote for me in the Valentine's Day contest if you like it!
Step 1: Gather Materials
There's not much to this.
All you need is:
- A piece of paper
- A ruler (preferably not a broken one)
- A pencil
Step 2: Add Your Drawings
To make it special and fun, next you add some images to the corners. This is common in stationary.
You could also add borders, custom lines, whatever you want! Get creative!
If you can't draw, you could just make some designs. It doesn't have to be anything - Just make it yours!
I like to leave the right corner open for dates, information, etc.
Step 3: Mark Your Lines
This step requires a ruler.
First, measure out a distance from the top, the bottom, and the sides. This will be your border. Along this border, draw some dots, spaced about 1/4 inch apart. This will mark where your lines go.
Do the same on the other side.
Step 4: On Your Mark...
Start drawing the lines on the dots you drew earlier. Make sure they're straight before you start drawing!
Step 5: Finished!
Now you can make a letter even more special with your own stationery!
I'd recommend copying it, so you don't have to remake it with every page.
I hope you liked it!
