How to Make Flower Vase by Using Cardboard

We created the flower vase by using cardboard as a material. We used Autodesk Inventor, 123D Make and cardboard cutting layouts for making the parts. Glue the parts together and Spray paint the parts.

You can use attached layouts if you want to make same designs.

Step 1: Get the Cardboard Stock

Step 2: Create 3D Model of the Flower Vase and Exporting STL File

We are using Autodesk Inventor for making the 3D model.
The video shows how to make 3D model Autodesk Inventor and export the 3D model as an STL file.

We can also use 123D Design for creating the 3D model.

Step 3: Create Cutting Layouts by 123D Design

The video shows "how to process STL file to make cardboard cutting layouts."

Step 4: Cardboard Cutting

We used simple cutter to cut all the layouts.
But laser cutter can be used for precision cutting.

Step 5: Assembling the Parts

Match the thick solid lines that are drawn on the layouts. Sort by numbers.
