How to Make - Origami Boat

Welcome,

Today we will learn how to make basic and quick traditional origami model that’s very easy and fun to make.

Follow the instructions below step by step and you will make an origami boat in no time, which you can put in a puddle.

You can use any colorful A4 paper and decorate the boat with markers and stickers.

Supplies

1. A4 Paper

2. Stickers and markers for decoration (Optional)

Step 1: Fold to Half

Fold the bottom half up to the top.

Step 2: Fold 2 Corners to Center

Fold the 2 upper corners to the page center, as the following picture.

Step 3: Fold the Bottom

Fold the paper bottom as the following picture.

Step 4: Fold the Corners

Flip the paper, and fold the 2 corners as the following picture.

Step 5: Fold the Bottom

Flip the paper, and fold it as the following picture.

Step 6: Fold the Corners

Flip the paper, and fold the 2 corners as the following picture. (Similar way as step 4)

Step 7: Paper Hat

Open the paper as the following picture. (like a paper hat, you can stop here and the result will be a paper hat)

Step 8: Fold to Half

After, you opened the paper as the previews picture, fold the paper as the following picture.

Step 9: Flip

Fold the paper as the following picture.

Step 10: Fold to Half

Flip the paper, and fold it as the following picture.

Step 11: Open the Paper From Bottom, and Pull Corners

Open the paper as the following picture, and pull the corners outside.

Step 12: Final Result - Origami Boat
