Intro: How to Make the Best CAKE COOKIES Ever!

these cookies will be the best cookies you will ever taste in your lifetime!

STEP 1: Heat Oven to 350 Degrees!

Heat the oven to 350 degrees

STEP 2: Get Your Favorite Kind of Cake...

Go to the store and pick out a cake flavor... any kind will do...literally any kind. I chose to do strawberry, my favorite!

STEP 3: Gather Ingredients

You need 1 box of cake mix, 1/2c. of vegetable oil, 2 eggs, and powdered sugar. one box will make about 2 1/2 doz. I'm making a double batch in the pictures.

STEP 4: Put Every Ingredient Into a Bowl!!!

Stir cake mix, oil, and eggs in a large bowl using a spoon until dough forms. do not beat!

STEP 5: Form Dough in a Ball! :-)

Dust hands with powdered sugar, shape dough into one-inch balls. Coat balls with powdered sugar. Place about two inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. bake for 10 MINUTES ONLY it is very beneficial to bake for only 10 minutes. they will look very undone and very smooshy. this is normal. they will set when you leave them to cool down.

STEP 6: Bake Time!!!

Bake at 350 degrees for EXACTY 10 minutes. they will burn if baked longer than 12...

STEP 7: Take 'em Outta Da Oven.

Mmmmm...just let them sit 'til they cool down and have your delicious cake cookies!!!

STEP 8: Delicious, Huh?!?!

Eat time! These were the true results!

1. Baking is not one of my strong points.
2. Every attempt at baking cookies from scratch, they are disappointing. 3. WHY HAVENT I SEEN THIS BASIC RECIPE EARLIER?!
4. I must try... If I so happen to fail at this attempt I will never try baking sweets again. Lol

I will show results after... Thanks for the recipe :)
jajaja I love CATS..... and obviously cookies too. Thanks for this super easy instructable (gato cabronzete!!!)
How many oz. do you mean by 1 box of powdered sugar? The box I'm using says 16.
it really doesnt matter the oz. all you need to worry about is the coating on the outside of the dough. thats all its used for.

thx
You're right, I just realized this when I read the instructions.
Thanks for replying, though.
Good instructable! Thank you. ( Ha ha, kitties LOVE boxes. Cute.)
I just made these with strawberry cake and red velvet cake. They're really great and so fast. The cooling takes longer than prep or cooking. The only thing I did differently was instead of dusting my hands with powdered sugar, i rolled the cake into balls (and surprisingly they didn't stick to my hands.. i was prepared for a mess!) and dropped them into a bowl of powdered sugar then rolled them around until thoroughly coated. I used an air bake pan coated with crisco vegetable oil spray. The bottoms were perfect. Just the slightest hint of golden around the edges. Cooled them for 5 before transferring to cooling rack & left them on that for 15-20 min. Pretty great cakies. This recipe will stay in my box til im 100. Guarantee'd. With the red velvet cake, after they were completely cooled, i used an icing bag to top them with home made cream cheese frosting. Amaaaazing. Strawberry cake is indeed fantastic but if you're a red velvet cake fiend (like I am) you really have to try them that way. Thanks OP!! <3

These are so great! I love warm cookies, but it's so time consuming. What a quick easy scrumptious idea! I just pulled my first batch out of the oven! And I agree...Strawberry cake is the best!
Ever heard of making them from scratch?
But then they wouldn't be cake cookies.
That photo is kinda disturbing.
