How to Use a Button Hook

This instructable was created to provide information on using a button hook. If you are someone who has trouble buttoning your shirt due to poor fine motor skills, then this may be a very useful tool!

Step 1:

Hold the button hook in the dominant or unaffected hand and thread wire hook through button hole of the shirt or pants.

Step 2:

Place the wide part of wire over the button in preparation for threading the button through the hole.

Step 3:

Pull the button through the hole of the shirt and remove wire from around the button.

Step 4:

Get out and enjoy your day!
