How to Make a Simple 3D House

I will use---> Illustrator , Rhino and Afinia 3D printer to make the house

This houses are designed by my roommate Minyoung Lee.

Step 1: Sketch Houses That You Would Like to Make

Step 2: Import the Sketches File to Ilustrator

Step 3: Import the Illustrator File to Rhino

Step 4: Made a Body

1. Click the body part in sketch --> (Command): ExtrudeCrv

2. Cap the Extrusion ---> (Command): Cap

Step 5: Put Windows

<Engrave window>

1. Make widows to 3D that you would like to engrave on the sketch ---->(Command): ExtrudeCrv + Cap.

2. Engrave the window part form Body ----->(Command): BooleanDifference

<Add window>

1. Make widows to 3D that you would like to engrave on the sketch ---->(Command): ExtrudeCrv + Cap.
2. Add the window part form Body ----->(Command): BooleanUnion

Step 6: Cut Unnecessary Part

1. Draw line on the part you would like to cut.

2. Cut the part through the line you drew ---> (Command): Split

Step 7: Cover the Cut Part

If you can't cover it with Cap (command) then ------>(command): Loft and click the part that you want to cover

Step 8: Add Basic Shape on the House

Step 9: Export It to STL File

based on 3D printer you can export it to gcode too:)

Step 10: Print It!!!!
