How to Make a Switch

This instructable tells of how you can make a few different switches for gadgets you make lets start.

Step 1: How to Make a Pressure Plate

The pressure plate I have used in one of my previous instructs. So you can also take a look at that. Anyway to make it you will need these materials.

Materials:
1. Wood two pieces
2. Aluminum foil
3. sponge or foam

Step 2:

Put the sponge in the sides of the bottom piece of wood. Then put the top wood on the sponge. The foil can be taped in the middle of both wood pieces.

Step 3:

now attach one battery wire and the object to power in the foil. Now touch the object to power with the battery compartment.

Step 4: How to Make Flip Switch

It is not really a flip switch but I call it that.
Anyway it is really easy to make. What it does is not let the power go through until it is moved.

The way to make a switch is very simple. It is just something that does not allow the circuit to go in a complete circle. It cuts out allowance for the electricity to flow threw the circuit.

Step 8: How to Make Another Switch a Button

A button is just another switch that stops a circuit just make a smaller pressure plate from metal not foil. Put something on top made from plastic and everybody sees a button. So lets make a button switch.

Step 9:

Put a sponge between a penny and another like the pressure plate.

Step 10:

Next attach wire like in the pic.

And you are done with another pressure plate. A penny button.

Step 12: How to Use a Regular Switch

I mean slide switch. It is actually simple.

To use it first find the right wires. The pic is one of the switches I attached to a battery compartment.
