- 2 large, pre-waxed candle wicks (9in.)
- 1 knife or scissors
- 1 lighter or match

Insert the wicks into the shortening.
They will slide in easily.

Make sure you are in a well ventilated area, away from anything flammable.
Make sure the candle is on a level surface. As the candle burns, the shortening will liquify.
Finally, light your candle.
It will burn for over 100 hours.

When you no longer need the light or heat, you can snuff the candle.
Replace the Crisco lid. Store in a cool, dry place and it just relight it whenever you need.
