Introduction: Interfacing TSOP1740 With Mediatek LinkIt One

In this Instructables You will be able to interface TSOP 1740 with Mediatek LinkIt One Board.

TSOP 1740 is a Photo Sensor which detects 38Khz frequency which is emitted by remote controllers of TV, Music System,etc.

Step 1: Requirements

  • Mediatek LinkIt One Board
  • TSOP1740 Photo Sensor
  • BreadBoard
  • Jumper wires

Step 2: Connections

TSOP1740 :Photo sensor

VCC(+5v): 5V On Board

Ground:GND

Out Pin: Pin D8

Step 3: Code,Compile and Run

I have uploaded the code to interface the photosensor.
