Introduction: Keychain Holder - House V2
Hi All,
Typical keychain holders available in the market
- lack creative designs, same designs for years
- not properly balanced or
- Rocks when heavy keys are placed
- Bad Hooks to hang
Today I am going to share my version of a keychain holder that is easy to print, install and does not rock or spoil your wall
Step 1: What Do We Need ?
- 3d Printer
- Tinkercad.com
- Acrylic Paints Black and Gold
- 0.5" hooks
Link to STL in step 3
Step 2: Tinkercad
- I am assuming you have used tinkercad.com before
- And can create this house from a silhouette or using a combination of shapes available in tinkercad
- To stabilize the holder and ease the installation, I have placed 2 holes for the screws instead of a wall ear
Step 3: 3d Printing
- Download the STL file from here
- I have used Cura with the following settings
- Resolution: 0.2mm
- Supports: none
- Infill: 10%
- Infill type: Zigzag
- Filament Color: Black
Step 4: Finishing
- If your filament color is not black, then paint the house in black and leave it to dry for 5 hrs
- Now Dry brush the house with golden paint to get it a metallic / brass appearance
- Print lines help in giving some texture to the whole thing
- Fix the Hook on the house
- Hang the keychain holder on a wall and place your key on it
