Introduction: Leftover Stars

About: Teacher of Engineering & Technology, nerding around with a sewing machine, laser cutter and 3D printer...
After making my 3D Christmas Cards, I had a whole load of star shapes leftover from the back layer. They were too pretty to throw away, so I hung on to them looking for something to do. I was going to glitter spray them and hang them off the tree, but they're a bit little for that. Instead, I turned them into a stamp, to make my gift tags with for this year.

All of the materials used for the instructible were leftover bits from the christmas card, apart from the tape used to hold it all together.

I simply doubled up the stars to make them thicker, and attached them to a bit of board to use as a backing. I used normal poster paint as the stamping ink, and stamped them onto thick cartridge paper, ready to cut out and hole punch for wrapping gifts
