Light Bulb Flower Vase

Today, i will be teaching you how to make a neat flower vase out of an old light bulb that you can easily find in your house or go buy at the store. The greatness of this project is that you can decorate your light bulb however you want and it cost little to no money to make a beautiful vase like this that can be be used for your every day life

Step 1: Step 1: Materials

Gather your materials in one place to start working on your object.

Step 2: The Start

With your knife, carefully cut out the very top of the metal part of your light bulb or have a parent help you with this step.

Step 3: The Hard Work

With the sharp long object, carefully break the inside glass of the light bulb until all of the glass is removed. Have a parent help you with this step if you're not old enough or if you think that you will break the light bulb since thin glass is very fragile.

Step 4:

With your knife, poke two small holes on the side of the metal part of your light bulb. Once again, if you are not old enough to handle sharp objects, ask a parent to help you with this step.

Step 5:

grab your piece of string and cut it to the size you want and think fits best.

Step 6: The Easy Part

Once you have poked your holes, grab your string and insert it on the sides of where you made your holes. Tie tightly so when the light bulb is hanged, the string won’t fall off.

Step 7: Time to Decorate

Decorate on the outside of the light bulb as you want until it meets your desires.

Step 8:

add water to your light bulb and apply the flowers of your choice
