Introduction: Litha Fairy Wand Hunt

About: During the COVID-19 crisis, all of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship's religious services moved into an online-only format. I generally organize Sunday school activities for the children of the Fellowship …

The fairies have come to visit for this Midsummer season! And they've brought gifts... if you can find them. Follow the clues and the steps below to find all the pieces and make your own magic wand!

Supplies

-everything is provided at the Fellowship!

Step 1: Go to the Parking Lot-side Doors.

You'll find instructions and a sample wand there! But you can read all of the instructions here, too!

Step 2: Find the Wand!

The wands themselves are in a striped treasure chest. Can you look at the picture of the grounds and tell where they are?

Step 3: Find the Jewels!

The jewels to stick on your wand are in a tin covered in maps. Can you look at the picture of the grounds and tell where they are? Once you find them, you can take a strip of colorful jewels or sparkly stars and stick them all over your wand.

Step 4: Find the Ribbon!

The ribbon is in a golden box. Can you look at the picture of the grounds and tell where it is? Once you find it, you can choose the ribbon you like best and tie it on the end of your wand.

Step 5: Find the Beads!

The beads are in a blue urn. Can you look at the picture of the grounds and tell where they are? Once you find them, you can tie a few on the ends of the ribbon. Now you have a magic wand!

You can bring it with you to the Wheel of the Year service on Sunday, June 19, if you like!
