Introduction: MAKE USB LIGHT FOR LAPTOPS IN 10 MINUTES

In this Instructables we are going to make the USB Light for the LAPTOPS. Normal USB Light Costs Minimum $ 4, But Here I am Making the USB Light with Old and Waste Materials Costs less than $ 1.Making of this USB Light is Very Very   Simple Manner and It Takes Only 10 Minutes. Use This   Light   for LAPTOP Keypads in Dark .It is Very Effective and Consumes less Power Only.

Step 1: Gathering Tools & Materials

Materials:
1. Tic Tac Hard Mint Box (Choose Normal Transparent Box)
2. White LEDs – 4 No’s (normal bright LEDs)
3. Resistors (100 Ohms)-4 No’s
4. Old USB Cable
5. Common PCB Board
6. Thin Iron Wires
7. Insulating Tapes
8. Paper Tapes (In Different Colors)
TOOLS&EQUIPMENT
-Soldering Iron
-Soldering Wire
-Hot Glue Gun
-Wire Cutter
-Hacksaw Blade

Step 2: MAKE FOLDABLE CABLE FOR LIGHT

Take the Iron Wire and Cut it into two Pieces with the Length of the USB Cable.

Take the USB Cable and Cut the Opposite Side of the USB   Port (i.e. Mini USB Port).

Place the Iron Wire around the USB Cable and Bend it in Corners.

Stick the Iron Wire with the USB Cable with Help of Insulating Tape in Two Times

Step 3: PREPARING THE USB LIGHT

Take the Common PCB Board and Cut it for Wanted Size Using Hacksaw Blade.

Solder the LEDs and Resistors as in the Circuit Diagram.

Pass the USB cable through the Tic Tac Container Cap.

In the USB Cable there are 4 Wires in Different Colors, Take Red as +ve and yellow as -ve and Make Soldering; the other two Wires are not needed, solder it separately.

Insert the Light into the Tic Tac container and Stick it using Glue Gun.

Step 4: MAKE MORE ATTRACTIVE

Cover all the Parts of the USB Light with Different Color Tapes.

Fold it for your convenient and connect it to the USB.

See the power of the USB light.

you can make this with different lenths and different color LEDs for fun.

Caution: please make the solder perfectly. Any short circuits in soldering will affect your LAPTOP’S USB port. Solder it carefully.
