Introduction: MEATBALLS "ITALIAN STYLE"

Meatballs are the basis of any good italian tomato sauce or ragù...


These meatballs go perfectly with my next 
tomato sauce "instructable" 

Step 1: INGREDIENTS

1 lb. ground sirloin
2 eggs

1/2 cup of whole milk
1/2 cup of locatelli cheese

3/4 cup of plain bread crumb

optional...(soak day old italian bread in milk instead of using breadcrumbs)

1 tablespoon fresh parsley
1 tablespoon of fresh basil or a few leaves if not dry
a pinch of salt and pepper

Step 2: MIXING THE INGREDIENTS

In a large stainless steel mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients and mix by hand, by mixing it this way you do not displace the fat in the meat making for a tender meatball.

Step 3: FRYING THE MEAT

In a large skillet with olive oil, brown each side of the meatball, then reduce the heat to finish the meat.
