Introduction: Make Celery Great Again or How to Revive Limp Celery

About: Either nobody makes the stuff I want, or I can't find the stuff I want, or the stuff is too expensive. So, I decided to make the stuff I want. I created this profile to kind of keep track of the stuff I make. …

I went to use my celery in a recipe and found it quite wilted. This gives me the opportunity to test the technique for reviving celery.

Supplies

You'll need a container to hold the celery and some cold water.

Step 1: Trim the Celery

Trim the bottoms off of the celery to open new pores.

Step 2: Hydrate

Place the ends of the celery into the container of water.

Step 3: Store

Put the celery in your refrigerator for several hours.

Step 4: Conclusion

I should have run a stopwatch to get the exact amount of time, but it has been at least 24 hours since putting the celery in the fridge. It has become stiff and actually cracks when folding. So, this method does revive limp celery.
