Make an 8-bit Companion Cube

Here's how to make an 8-bit companion cube for use in retro video games or anything related to Portal that you want to look retro. It's pretty simple and uses only free software.

Step 1: Here's What You Need

1) a PC running Microsoft
2) ms paint
3) a companion cube (a picture will do)

Step 2: Step 1

Open up MS paint and zoom to 400%

Step 3: Step 2

Select the 1 pixel paintbrush

Step 4: Step 4

Select a color and draw the companion cube bit by bit. (no pun intended)

Step 5: That's All!

That's all you need to do to draw a companion cube. This method can be translated to anything, like Mario, or Donkey Kong.
