Introduction: Makeover Furniture
With two boys running around the house something is sure to get damaged, scratched, bumped or broken. Only last month I ended up spray painting a kiddies table and chair set to make it look as good as new. After all, we're all trying to do our bit and rather fix up than throw away!
Step 1: Make a Choice
Although you may think that using spray paint is kinda defeating the object of becoming more 'green", I suppose it's a toss up between repurposing and making new or tossing out. At the end of the day I think that making new wins over tossing out and it means less rubbish on the trash heap.
With a little sanding down with 120-grit sandpaper you can remove must of the dings and dents.

Step 2: Add Colour
A couple of cans of spray paint can do wonders to makeover old and ugly furniture, and restore damaged furniture to good condition. When you have kids running around it's nice to know that it doesn't take much to fix up and repair as they wreak destruction wherever they go!
Step 3: Think Twice
So before you think about throwing something out, think again. Give some thought as to how old or damaged furniture can be repurposed and given a new life.
