Hello everyone! hope that you are all doing well. I have been doing a lot of organizing lately. I came across a few extra fence wood pieces my husband cut for a few other projects. I wanted to create something simple. I decided to create a mini fall wood bench and I absolutely adore it. You will only need a few materials and a smile on your face.

Supplies

Materials

Two wood sections 6¼ inches -I'm using wood pickets that I cut down to size

Eight tumbling wood blocks-You can find a box at Dollar Tree

Paint-white and brown

Paintbrush

Wood glue

Optional-Mod Podge/Decorative napkin

Scissors --to cut your napkin design to size

Step 1: Applying Paint to Wood Pieces

Start by applying paint to your two wood sections. I decided I wanted a white bench.

Step 2: Apply Paint Onto Wood Tumbling Blocks

Next, take your tumbling blocks and apply paint to each one. You don't have to worry about the top and bottom sections of your blocks.

Step 3: Glue Together Tumbling Blocks

After, take your blocks and glue them together. You will glue the two together. When you are done you will end up having four legs total.

Step 4: Adding on the Legs Onto Your Wood Section

Next, take your legs, and use wood glue to attach them to the bottom wood section of your bench. Be sure to allow your wood legs to completely dry.

Step 5: Putting Together Your Bench

Take your second wood section and add it to the bottom wood section. This will be the back of your bench. Apply a generous amount of wood glue, and wipe away any excess glue.

Be sure to allow your wood sections to completely dry.

Step 6: Adding Brown Paint

I decided to add a little brown paint onto my bench. I added a few streaks here and there.

Step 7: Optional--Adding Mod Podge and Decorative Napkin

This step is optional, but you can add mod podge and a decorative napkin to the back section of your bench. Take your mod podge and apply it to the back of your bench.

Once you have done this, take your napkin and add the decorative section onto the mod podge. Apply a layer of mod podge over your napkin and smooth out any wrinkles. I always use my blow dryer when completing my mod podge design.

Step 8:

Your mini Fall wood bench is complete and adorable! I hope that you enjoy this simple project. Be sure to let me know if you create your very own. I'll see you soon. Thank you so much for creating with me.
