The miter saw, also known as the chop saw, is a compact power saw with a circular rotating blade used to make quick accurate crosscuts in wood at various angles. Miter saws are relatively compact and portable, making them an extremely useful tool for all kinds of construction projects in the workshop and beyond.
This class is a part of a greater course series covering Wood Shop safety and basic use. After taking all the classes in this series, you will be able to safely use the power tools in the Wood Shop to to begin basic woodworking projects.
