About: Hi!! I'm -moonglade, also known as Aria. I'm a writer, actress, teen, and a crafty Christian girl. I'm not very active here, but don't hesitate to send me a message if you'd like to get to know me! :)

Here is a way to make lead ropes for your model horses -- You don't want them running off on you!

Step 1: What You'll Need

You will need...

  • Embroidery Floss
  • Scissors
  • Lobster Clasp
  • Tape

Step 2: Cut Your String

First, you have to cut your embroidery floss to the length that you want.

When cutting, make sure you cut it twice as long as the length you want it.

Example: If you want a 10 inch lead rope, cut 20 inches long.

Step 3: Attaching

Now attach your string to the lobster clasp by pulling one end through the small hole at the bottom.

Pull it halfway through and fold down. Make sure the strings are lined up.

Step 4: Twist!

Tape the lobster clasp onto something. (Like a table...)

After that, start twisting! Twist the two strings together until you reach the end.

Step 5: Finishing Your Lead Rope

Tie a knot at the end of your string so that it won't untwist. Then your finished!
