Introduction: More Stowable Rockband Guitar
This instructable will walk you through a few easy steps to make your Rockband guitar fit easily into it's box again. A great way to unclutter your game or living room.
Step 1: Remove Initial Screws
Start by removing the four screws on the back of the head of the guitar.
Step 2: Remove Metal Plate
Next, remove the tiny black screw and remove the metal plate.
Step 3: Remove Metal Clips.
Using a pair of needle-nose pliers, carefully remove the metal "J" shaped clips. These are the things that keep the head from coming off once clipped.
Step 4: It Should Look Like This.
Now we can start to reassemble the head.
Step 5: Replace the Plate, and Tape the Clips Inside the Head of the Guitar.
This way if you ever need to send it in for repair or want to sell it, it's all in one place.
Step 6: Replace the Back of the Guitar's Head.
Reinsert the 4 black screws and carefully tighten them. You can easily crack the screw-peg's by over tightening. Now you're done! The whole Rockband set up will fit snugly back into the Rockband box or a cheap Seward Trunk (we picked one up at Wal-Mart for about $20 bucks). Enjoy your much cleaner living room!
