This Mr. Pumpkin getting ready for tonight Halloween Party with his friends, he is polishing his pumpkin head so he can shinning bright and catchy between all his halloween party's friends.

I use Sketchbook Pro 6.0 ... you can download it on sketcbook.com
I am still using the freetrial mode .. and this tools is awesome.

Step 1: Mr Pumpkin Get Ready for Party Step 1

Prepare blank canvas on Sketchbook pro

Step 2: Mr Pumpkin Get Ready for Party Step 2

Make some sketches, you better use light color, so you won't confuse even you made many lines.
You can use pencil tool .. with 2B selection

Step 3: Mr Pumpkin Get Ready for Party Step 3

Add some clear detail for the pumpkin head, you can choose darker color than the first one

now we make the detail for the body .. i create his head like torch. So when he put his pumpkin head .. the head will shine

Here i made some rough sketch for the background, you can change with the background you want

I put some clear line.. now i choose Black color on different layer

Now we make some clean dark outline on the background .. i choose Black color.

Now we add some solid color .. i put this colored layer under the dark line layer, so you can put the color without any fear that the color will cover the line.

I use paintbrush tool

On this step i put some light yellow color on the top of solid color .. just to add some light from the head.

I use Airbrush tool

On this step i put some shadow on the image

I use both Airbrush tool and Paintbrush tool

Final Step .. time to add some detail on the illustration.

I use Paintbrush tool, Airbrush tool, and Feltpen Tool

You can choose your own brush if you find another brush is more suitable for you.
