New Antique Brass Box

I was at an antique store when i can across a bunch of really cool old metal boxes. I wanted to see if i could replicate them. I don't have many metal working tools so i had to improvise and come up with a few work arounds. I wanted the boxed to look old so my lack of tools and skills helped the overall look. The trick to antiquing the metal is salt and ammonia vapor... SCIENCE!!. The salt will create beautiful blues and the ammonia vapor with tarnish the rest. It works on brass and copper, it might work on aluminum, I haven't tried it. Check out the video and the video description for more detais
