Nintendo LED D-pad and Buttons NES

This is a guide to change your old Nintendo controller buttons to LED buttons. Please visit my site for more details www.mlmod.com
Things you will need to get started:

1. Original Nes controller
2. Soldering iron and solder
3. Small Phillips screwdriver 
4. (3) 5v pre-wired LED'S of your color choice
5. Clear D-pad and buttons        
6. Hot glue or epoxy 

Step 1: Open the Controller

You will need a small Phillips screwdriver to remove all 6 screws.

Step 2: Find the Power and Ground

Solder your 3 Pre-wired 5v LED'S  to the 5v and ground

Step 3: Glue in the LED'S

Glue or epoxy the 3 LED'S  to the inside top of the controller. 2 LED'S above the A-B buttons and one alongside the D-pad.

Step 4: Put the Controller Back Together

Remove old buttons and replace with clear aftermarket D-pad and buttons. Make sure everything fits together without any obstructions. Put all the screws back in and have fun...
