Hi and welcome to my instructable, I am here to show you how oil, water l, and food coloring don't get along.

Step 1: Water and Oil

Fill up halfway with water, then out a thick area of oil on top.

Result: the oil floats on top of the water

Step 2: It's Raining Colors

Put food coloring of any kind onto the top of the oil.

Result: it goes right through the oil and down into the water.

Step 3: Stir

Stir it together.

Result: it will turn a different color than return to it's original state. The food coloring will have mixed with the water.

Step 4: That's the End

I love this experiment so much, but we have to end it right here.
