Introduction: Our Bright Memories

About: Mechanical engineer, Youtuber, and a robotic enthusiast

Family and friends are the most important in life, we grow up together we shared our happy moments, we had our ups and downs, but we sure know that we love each other, and we always remember our happy memories, and tell everyone stories about them, we always want our happy memories to stay with us, and what a better solution to immortalize those memories than having them physiquly with us, in our rooms!!

That is when I decided to make that Lithophane lamp to remember every day that I have wonderful peoples in my life, and that we spent allot of beautiful moments together ^_^

So if you have wonderful peoples in your life too (and I am sure you have) I am giving you my solution to let them light up your life

Requiairements:

  • 3D Printer.
  • White filaments.

  • LED G9 Lamp (link).

  • Electric wiers.
  • light switch (link).

  • Electric plug (link)

  • 2 M2 screws
  • Electric tape

Step 1: Step 1: Choose Your Photos

For this project you need 4 photos, they have to have the same size.

If they don’t have the same size you can cut them using Photoshop or GIMP or whatever program you prefer.

The higher quality and the brighter the photos are the best results you will get.

Step 2: Step 2: Http://3dp.rocks/lithophane/

Go to ( http://3dp.rocks/lithophane/ ) and drag and drop your first photo.

Copy the Model Settings and the Image Settings from the photos, choose Outer curve, then refresh and download.

Repeat the operation for the next 3 photos.

Step 3: Step 3: 3D Print the Photos and the .STL Files

Print the 5 .STL files (Base, Cabel_Fixing, Down_Holder, Top_Holder, Spinner) and the 4 .STL files that you made earlier in step 2. If you are using Cura as a slicer you can use my printing profile.

Step 4: Step 4: Assemblage

The assemblage is pretty forward:

  1. Glue the Spinner on the top of the LED lamp.
  2. Pas the Electric wire in the Base part and link it with the LED lamp, and put some tape around the electric wires.
  3. Put the photos between the Top and the Down Holders.
  4. Secure the electric wire with the 2 M2 screws and the Cable_fixing
