Why?

Because privacy matters, I came up with this inexpensive "device" to protect us from prying eyes.

It's quite simple to put together.

Step 1: Materials and Tools

Step 2: Measurements

Get familiar with both the idea and the measurements you will have to take. Diverse laptop models will have different webcam and led placements.

Step 3: The Tape Strips

I strongly suggest you go through the whole set of instructions before assembling this.

Step 4: The Base and the Sliding Loop Assembly

Step 5: Attaching It to Your Laptop

I made 2 of these so far and they have been working great.

Being it quite simple and inexpensive design, I'm sure you won't have any trouble fine-tuning it to your needs, even if some trial and error is to be expected.
