Introduction: Paper String Flowers!

The materials you will need for this project are:

Scissors

Origami Papers (or regular colored papers depending on what you have)

Button Batteries (voltage depending on the voltage of your lights)

LED Lights (color depending on your preference)

Binder Clips

Staples

Stapler (duh)

Regular Tape

String

Step 1: Step One: Fold & Cut Your Papers!

If you are using origami papers like I am then you don't have to cut your paper into square, but if you're using regular papers you need to cut those into squares first.

First, fold you square paper diagonally in half and cut a slit in the middle. Then, with it still folded in half, fold up the corners to meet the middle.

Repeat this one more time

Step 2: Step 2: Fold & Cut for a Leaf!

Repeat the first part of the first step for a leaf. Do all of this on a slightly smaller square piece of paper.

Instead of fold up just the corners, fold the entire side over and over again until you have a ripple like effect in the paper. Do this to both sides. Unfold it and look at your amazing rippling paper!

You only have to do this once for one leaf.

Step 3: Step 3: Inserting the Lights!

I color coordinated my lights to my flowers and leaves but you do not have to. Choose whatever lights you want!

First, insert your light from the back of the flower. Get your button batter and slide it between the prongs of your light and hold it there momentarily with a binder clip. Do this to all of your flowers and leaves!

One by one, start staples them together so that it will stay lit!

Step 4: Step Four: Stapling the Flowers!

Remove the binder clip and staple the flower shut to keep it lit! Next, fold down the side of your flower to hide the staples on the back

Finally, you may start assembling! Cut a piece of string long enough for the amount of flowers you made and staple them to your string. If you would prefer, you may hot glue them to your string.

Step 5: You're Done!

Ta-Dah! You are finished with your project! Hope you enjoyed this instructable!
