Introduction: Pawprint Nail Art

About: 18 and learning how to make decisions.
A cute nail art idea that you can achieve using an old pen (I seem to have so many lying around) and a little practice. Alternatively dotting tools or thin brushes may be used.

Step 1: Base Coat

Starting with clean dry nails, apply two coats of nail polish to each nail. I used two shades of pink, with a darker shade on feature nail (optional)

Step 2:

Tip a small amount of nail polish in the colour of the prints onto a non-porous surface. I used a white polish and an old CD.

Step 3: Large Spots

Using the back of a pen, dip this into the nail polish and dot 2-3 circles onto each nail.

Step 4: Small Spots

Using the nib of the pen dip into the polish and create three small dots at the top of each larger spot.

Step 5: Top Coat

Seal with a clear top coat and allow sufficient time to dry.
