Introduction: Pepsi Perfect (3D Print)

About: I am a software engineer, addicted to props

If you are like me and didn't had the chance to buy the Pepsi Perfect from the Pepsi store, here is a great tutorial for you. I will show you how to make the Pepsi Perfect Prop from Back to the future.

You will need:

  • A 3D Printer
  • A Printer with glossy paper (or regular paper)
  • A Bottle of glass
  • Blue paint

Step 1: Choosing Your Glass

I took mine at Walmart. It was only 2$ and seems to have the perfects dimensions (with the perfects curvy style)

Step 2: Print the Cap

I used the file from this gentlemen:

Description : "The lids are scaled to have an inside diameter of 1 inch, way too small unless you want a future shot glass. Measure (in inches) the inside diameter of your favorite pilsner glass, easily obtainable at any thrift store, and scale it by that much."

So my glass was 3.17 inches diameter so I scale the model a 3.17.

Step 3: Sand and Paint

To make it more smooth you will have to sand it and paint it with blue spray paint.

Step 4: Print the Logo

I used glossy paper to print the pepsi perfect logo. The diameter is around 2.5 inches. Then I used super glue to glue it to the glass.

Step 5: Final Result

An easy DIY project for everyone who likes Back to the future. You can even add real Pepsi to it. It cost me almost nothing and it looks very good! Hope you enjoyed it, any comment is welcome.
