Introduction: Plant Holder

This is a Red plant holder with a difference as it is designed to be hung off the side of a cupboard, enabling you to enjoy plants where you might otherwise not be able to.

It is also good for holding letters.

Step 1: Making a Saddle

It is made up of some painted saddle shapes. You can learn how to create a saddle shape here: How to make a saddle shape.

Step 2: Painting the Saddles

Paint the saddles red or a colour of your choice. Once the paint has dried, the saddle shapes are fixed to a 'false cupboard side'.

Step 3: Cupboards False Side

Here's how to make a false cupboard side: How to make a false cupboard side.

Step 4: Fixing the Saddle Shapes to the False Side

The saddle shapes are fixed to the false cupboard side using double sided fixing tape. The false side is then hung off a cupboard.

Step 5: Add Plants

Once the saddle shapes have been fixed to the 'false side' and it has been hung off the side of a cupboard, plants can be added into them.

Small plants, still in their pots work fine, although you could also take them out of their pots and place them in plastic bags before going into the saddles.
