Here is what you will need for the plant pottery reuse collection :

Spray Can
Paint Marker
Gloves

You can choose whatever type of supplier (different colours, different sizes, different forms) you want. All depends on your personal furnishing. I've chosen five equal plant pots, a "Chrom" spray can and a white paint marker.

Step 1: Preparation

Start by choosing a well-ventilated area to work in, preferably outdoors. Lay down a protective covering like old newspapers to prevent paint from reaching unintended surfaces. Gather all the necessary materials: spray paint (suitable for the pot's material), painter's mask, gloves, and, of course, the plant pots themselves.

Step 2: Clean the Pots

Before spraying, ensure the plant pots are clean and free from dirt or debris. Wash them with mild soap and water and let them dry completely. This ensures that the paint adheres smoothly to the surface.

Step 3: Spray Painting

Hold the spray can approximately 10-15 cm away from the pot's surface. Start spraying in a steady, back-and-forth motion, overlapping each stroke slightly. Keep the can moving while spraying to avoid drips or uneven coating. Apply thin coats to prevent runs and ensure even coverage.

Allow the first coat to dry completely before applying additional coats. The drying time can vary depending on the type of paint used, humidity, and temperature. Check the paint can for specific drying times.

Step 4: Finishing Touches

Once you're satisfied with the paint coverage, let the final coat dry thoroughly. If desired, you can add decorative touches like patterns, stencils, or designs to personalise the pots further.

After painting, it's essential to allow the plant pots to cure fully. This means leaving them in a dry and well-ventilated area for a few days to ensure the paint fully sets and hardens.

Step 5: Replanting

Once the paint is completely dry and cured, you can safely plant your green companions back into the pots and proudly display your freshly painted plant pots in your indoor or outdoor spaces.
