About: Heya, I'm Helen and I love to make and learn how to do stuff.

Mothersday, valentines day or any other day is coming up and what better way is there to show your love than with a homemade puff pastry lollipop?

Step 1: What You Need

Here is what you need:

- puff pastry

- 1 egg

- a sip of milk

- heart shaped cookie cutter

- 50g jam

- 50g chocolate

- wooden skewers

Step 2: Puff Pastry and Chocolate

Preheat your oven to 220°C/430°F.

Roll out your puff pastry and use the cookie cutter to cut out heart-shaped pieces.

Cut the chocolate into small pieces.

Lay out the hearts on a baking sheet. Make sure to leave some space between each heart.

Step 3: Jam

Put a tablespoon of jam or chocolate onto each heart. Add a wooden skewer and lay another piece of dough on top of it. Use a fork to form the edges and squeeze the two layers together.

Step 4: Egg

Break an egg open and add a sip of milk and swirl it. Use a baking brush and paint the hearts with the egg-milk mixture.

Step 5: Baking

Turn the oven to 200°C/390°F. Bake the puff pastry for 10 to 12 minutes. Do not open the oven during the baking time otherwise the dough might collapse.
