Introduction: Pyramid Pouch
<hello>
I needed a small wallet for my coins and stuff and I thought why not make one?It was really fun to make and it wasn't time consuming at all.Hope you enjoy...:))
PS.I wanted to explain it with pictures as much as possible thats why the instructions are kind of short. If you have any questions please feel free to comment :))
Step 1: Materials
-Scissors
-a zipper
-needle and thread
-chalk(optional)
-fabric of your choice
Step 2: Measurments
You are going to cut 8 triangle shapes you can change the measurments if you want a smaller or bigger pouch.(the measurments that I used:sides=12cm height:10cm)Leave 1cm seam allowence.
Step 3: Cutting
Cut 8 triagnles and lay them down like the ones in the picture. Then sew the sides. You can skip this step if you are using a thicker fabric. And I just wanted it to look the same both inside and outside.
Step 4: Sewing the Zipper
Fold the fabric and pin it to the zipper. Then sew both sides.
Step 5: The Pyramid Shape
Put the 3rd triange on the fabric and sew the sides. Then continue sewing like the one in the picture.
Step 6: Finishing Sewing
When you are sewing don't sew all the way through.Leave a little hole for the strap.
Step 7: The Bottom
When you are done with the sides put them on the bottom triangle and sew the sides.
WARNING:(when you are sewing the last side make sure that you open up the zipper
Step 8: The Strap
Cut a 4cmx20cm fabric for the strap.Fold it and sew the sides. Then turn it inside out and pull it through the little hole that you left earlier and sew.
Step 9: Done:)
and that is basically it :))sorry for some of the photos that the quality isn't really good.
Anyways hope you enjoyed. At the beginning I thought it was going to be really hard to make but it turned out to be pretty easy.If you make one please send me a picture :)))
