Now don't tell me, I've nothing to do.

I've got a repair to do.

Step 1: SCRATCHES

The metal headboard scratched the wall. Repainting the wall is simple enough, but how do I prevent it from happening again and again.

Step 2: REPURPOSING

I came across a whole bunch of chair leg bottoms, the kind that stick to the foot of a chair leg to protect the floor from scratches.

Step 3: I REPURPOSED THEM

All this was really easy -- and the dogs and cat weren't even disturbed.

Step 4: WALL PAINT

Always keep extra paint if possible. I have a whole bunch of extra paints all labeled for their different uses. STIR well since it has probably settled. Apply several light coats and voila!

Step 5: REPAIRED

And those button cushions should prevent those scratches from returning.

Step 6: A VERY SIMPLE FIX
