Introduction: Rare Yool Gingerbread Cookie
Rare Yool is back for the holiday season! Celebrate its return by baking a tasty gingerbread cookie inspired by Rare Yool from My Singing Monsters. This special treat is as much fun to make as it is to eat, and perfect for sharing with friends!
Step 1: Gather Your Materials
To bake and decorate your Rare Yool gingerbread cookie, you will need the following materials:
- Gingerbread cookie dough (store-bought or homemade!)
- Rabbit-shaped cookie cutter
- Rainbow sprinkles
- Icing in assorted colors
- Red mini-M&M’s
- Mini-pretzels
- Candy eyes
Step 2: Bake Your Cookies
Ask an adult to help you preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Next, sprinkle a flat work surface with flour and roll your gingerbread dough out to roughly ¼ inch thick.
Use your cookie cutter to cut out your Rare Yool shapes from your dough, then mold them by hand to create the wildest beards you can dream up! Then press mini-pretzels into the dough at the top of Rare Yool’s head to use as antlers.
Finally, arrange your cookies onto a baking tray 1 inch apart, and have an adult place them in the oven for 8-10 minutes.
Step 3: Decorate Your Cookies & Enjoy!
Now for the fun part: decorating! Once your gingerbread cookies have had a few minutes to cool, place a dot of icing on the back of your candy eyes and mini-M&M nose and press them onto Rare Yool’s face. Then use icing in colors of your choice to outline this Seasonal Monster’s ears and mouth.
Finally, use icing in assorted colors to draw on Rare Yool’s bells and sprinkles. You can also use your icing to adhere real sprinkles to its beard. Lookin’ good!
Great job making these festive My Singing Monsters treats! Best wishes this holiday season from the Monster-Handlers, and as always — Happy Monstering!
